First Wave Associates launched.

Door 15 has been in partnership with First Wave Associates a brand new driving school launched in Loughborough. FWA caters for driving tuition in Shepshed, Loughborough, Leicester and the surrounding Midlands.

Door 15 supplies interactive flipbooks to many clients around the UK, but i have been working on a new and improved version with more features including built in movie player, index scrolling, double width canvas drop down and improved bitmap smoothing.

Expect more information to be given out in the coming weeks.

New amends to the main site

I've made some tweaks to the main site, namely a new dynamic flash promotion section at the top to replace the popular one i used to have. This new one is more intelligent and is easier to add to when i need to so expect some more pieces to be added soon.

I've also changed the style very slightly, which i think looks better. I get some nice feedback from people about the site, but if you'd like to suggest anything feel free to drop me a line.

Busy Busy, Portfolio update

I've managed to get away from client projects to update my portfolio with a couple of concept designs. More updates will follow over the weekend so be sure to check back if your interested in what I'm up to.

Sadly i've been working on some amazing projects but can't post details argh! NDA's! I'll try to get some more projects on my portfolio at the weekend.

Flash interactive cd-rom's for windows & macintosh

Door 15 has been developing interactive cd-roms for some time, but i have now expanded my development tools to run on Windows and Macintosh using the new Zinc 3.0 tools. This gives me so much more flexibilty and power over operating commands and hence i can now develop really nice looking cd apps.

Well back to work i suppose.....

After all the fat foods and beer it's time to get back to it i guess. I would like to wish everyone one a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year of course! Door 15 has been hard at work as usual developing and designing, in-fact i have been building some very exciting projects and I'm please to announce i will be offering some extra services in the coming months.

I've been using TweenLite allot lately and has proved itself to be a very powerful tween class, so i would  recommend anybody into flash to give it a try.

CS4 Finally Arrived!

We'll finally got the most expensive piece of software i have ever purchased delivered! I must say it runs pretty damn good on the new imacs. 

Took me a while to get used to the new layout, but I'm really loving the new tween features on Flash, it's so much easier to do animations etc. I couldn't stick with the time line at the bottom though so i put that back at the top.

Overall I'm really pleased with it and can't wait to try some new stuff out, when i can get a spare minute from working. Was it worth £1,500? mmm,probably not but in my business i have to have the latest software, i just wish Adobe would re-think it's pricing policy here in the UK..

Adobe Creative Suite CS4

We'll it's almost upon us, CS4 will be release this October and yes I've pre-ordered it £1,500 though! jesus that's allot of money for a box with 6-7 discs :( I wish Adobe would price it more fairly here in the UK compared to USA, i mean common! We end up paying nearly double than our cousins over the pond..

I think this is the one that will really run great on my new Mac, i must also say that the new features on Flash CS4 look awesome and can't wait to see what cool stuff i can do..
